Deleting a Site
To move a site to your trash folder and free up a site slot, follow these steps:
Open the Dashboard.
Click the Sites tab.
Locate the site you want to move to your trash folder, then click its Manage icon.
In the sidebar, click Move to Trash.
Confirm that you want to do this by checking the confirmation checkbox.
Click Move to Trash
If the site is being shared, you may need to cancel all shares before proceeding.You're done! The site has now been moved to your trash folder and taken offline. Sites moved to your trash folder will be permanently deleted after 3 days (or 14 days if you're on a Pro plan) unless otherwise noted, but if you change your mind during that period you can choose to restore it (see below).
If you'd rather not wait, you can manually delete the site from your trash folder (see below), or simply click the Empty Trash button to delete all sites from your trash folder. In either case, the action is permanent and cannot be undone so please be sure you want to do this.
Restoring a Previously Deleted Site
Open the Dashboard.
Click the Sites tab.
Click the folders dropdown at the top of the page.
Locate then click on the Trash folder.
Locate the site you wish to restore, then click its Restore icon.
You must have at least one site slot available to restore a site. If you don't have any site slots available, the site's Restore icon will be disabled.You're done! The site has been restored to your Sites tab as an offline draft.
Permanently Deleting a Site
Open the Dashboard.
Click the Sites tab.
Click the folders dropdown at the top of the page.
Locate then click on the Trash folder.
Locate the site you wish to permanently delete, then click its Delete icon.
This action is permanent and cannot be undone. Be sure you want to permanently delete this site before proceeding.You're done! The site has been permanently deleted from your trash folder.
