Sharing a Custom Template

Requires Pro Lite or higher

If you'd like to make a custom template available to another user as a starting point for their sites, you can elect to share Template access with them by following these steps:

  1. On your Dashboard, locate the template you want to share.

  2. Click the template's Manage icon.

  3. In the sidebar, click Sharing.

  4. Click Add User

  5. Under Access, select Template.

  6. In the Email field, enter the email of the user with whom you want to share the template. The email must be linked to an active Carrd account with access to the plan features used by the template (if any). For example, if the template uses Form elements, the account must be on Pro Standard or higher.

  7. Click Add User

  8. You're done! When selecting a starting point for a new site, your custom template will now be available to the user as an option under their My Templates → Shared tab.
