Making a Custom Template Public

Requires Pro Lite or higher

By default, custom templates are considered Private and only available to you and those with whom they've explicitly been shared. However, if your use case necessitates making a template available to anyone (for example, as part of a tutorial), you can do just that by making it Public. Here's how:

  1. On your Dashboard, locate the template you want to share.

  2. Click the template's Manage icon.

  3. In the sidebar, click Template.

  4. In the first section, check the Public radio button.

  5. Click Save Changes

  6. You're done! Anyone* with the build link shown in the first section will now be able to select and use your custom template as a starting point for new sites. If you're a member of our referral program, anyone passing through your build link will also automatically activate your referral code.

    * Must have access to the plan features used by the template (if any). For example, if the template uses Form elements, the account must be on Pro Standard or higher.
